Dear Mr. Flaherty,
It was Yesterday. So there I was --inside Mississauga Council Chambers. And like so many times before, It was just me, by my ownself, sitting on the Council benches.
Yesterday was a Budget Council meeting. And get this, sir. After winning Budget Awards for nineteen years straight, Mississauga finally figured out that it'd be peachy to prepare financial projections beyond 12 months at a time.
And McCallion et al were going on about the need to raise taxes. Or make cuts. Difficult Angst-decisions. And the Buzz-words "Infrastructure" and "CITIES NOW!" were sprinkled and buffeted about, like Smarties inside a McFlurry.

And McCallion reassured all citizens present (Me) that the Staff had once again scoured all departments and made "a thorough review of services" to ensure sharp-pencil-efficiency. You know how it goes, Mr. Flaherty.
