Today (although it's still Friday, July 27th here in Hawaii), and every Saturday we continue our home-grown MISSISSAUGA comic strip called "MISSISSAUGA --Howzit's Going". It's a tale about a Hawaiian green sea turtle who wins a month-long trip to Mississauga. (That'll teach the little dude to enter poetry contests on the Internet!)
Like last week's comic, this one is also dedicated to Mississauga Councillor Pat ("I am the victim here") Saito on her courtroom victory today. Guess the champagne's really bubblin' in ol' Ward 9 this night.
Anyway. Moving Forward. The comic strip.
And so Howzit who just won a trip to Mississauga discovers to his mortification that he too wrote a Pothole Poem.

Special thanks to Mississauga City Council for providing never-ending inspiration for this new cartoon series.

Just while was I tuning the guitar down to Neil Young’s “Oh High Hole” it just dawned on me that Batista’s sentencing was commuted from the Minister of Corrections loop and back onto the same property taxes where the disappearances of our T-4 slips and HRDC Occupation Codes gave Cliff Gyles the extra edge for cash strapped councilors to clean pots and pans at the Club Fed.
If I recall Her Warship’s comments telling Constable Metcalf (at the June 21 PPAG Dental Deliberation) to entrap local entrepreneur Pan Handlers because of an acute shortage of clean dishes, why not just have Peel Regions Employment Services Group trick over seas skills trades through facades of success, then they might not have to extradite turtles or Mr. Batista to wash Hazels dishes?
Or have they already thought of this ? ?
