June 1, 2007 - The City of Mississauga needs to clean up its act to prevent the city from becoming a litter and graffiti eyesore, municipal politicians say...
...Mayor Hazel McCallion said she attends many events in parks, and agreed the City needs to do a better job keeping them clean. Her office receives regular complaints, she said.
'I'm not pleased. If we haven't got enough staff, let me know," said the mayor.
McCallion noted there are lots of recycling bins in Toronto parks, and 'even on the streets.' Mississauga, by contrast, uses barrels with 'big black bags.'
'It doesn't encourage recycling,' she said."

Grossly Unfair? Disgraceful? UNCanadian?!
What about All the Great Stuff about the Streetsville Bread and Honey Festival? How can I MAGNIFY SO UNCONSCIONABLY on one negative aspect of an entire joyous community weekend? Crabby and indignant are you at the Injustice and Arrogance of such an act?
