This- is Mississauga.
Looks like the Mississauga News Blogs section had a bit of a choppy ride this weekend what with that "BANDWITH EXCEEDED" stuff...
(she checks...) YAY! John Stewart's Random Access is back sweet-and-true as well! John Stewart ROCKS.
I can't write near as good as Mr. Stewart can but then again, I don't really need to --my material just kind of writes itself. Of course technology helps!
So. Easy Blog today, Boys and Girls. Here you go. I call it:

That's a lot of pain to suffer through for your excellent punch line, Muse.
Do you think that the Councillors and Madame Mayor really didn't realize they were being fed a re-run, or is it that they thought they were getting something new and got leftovers instead? Does Council really need this sort of self-serving nonsense at all, let alone twice? How many rate-payer dollars did it cost to stroke their own egos? Doesn't Council have anything better to do?
Having watched a few Council meetings now, I notice that almost all of them open with variations on this sort of self-congratulory aren't-we-all-wonderful pat-each-other-on-the-back ritual. Low self-esteem, perhaps?

Hi Ursula
Found the flick you wanted, Peel the Banana Republic (check your box) and thanks for sharing the PPAG 2001 “Piano Scenes ”at 625 Atwater next to the water fountain.
Must have been something that pinched Dalton McGuinty’s optic nerve and/or in the drinking water that would flush him out from the original back drop scenes behind the Mississauga South Social Audit before Deb Mathew’s applied the ISAC in her report.
Big Yellow’s CAO must have graduated from TLK in the early 70’s just after you did because just across the public speaking halls at Clarkson Secondary, Business Law Professor’s were saying the same thing Justice Sidney Linden concluded 37 years later “Statutes of Limitations” don’t apply to authors who only to listen to their own public speaking sound bites .
I hope civil servants come up with a better solution than this idea of pooling us natives out to make room for integration just because it sounds good? It’s violation of our Fundamental Rights whether it sounds good or not!
